The world of pharmaceutical manufacturing is ever-changing and evolving. This global contract manufacturing organisation required preparation, execution and review of full lifecycle qualification and validation deliverables for GMP Laboratory equipment and their computerised systems, as well as both GMP HMI/PLC and DCS DeltaV based manufacturing process equipment validation. Building on the success of the engagement, Cheshire Scientific Service became responsible for overseeing the site’s largest CQV project in over 10 years for introduction of a new DeltaV distributed control system, 4 Bioreactors, ancillary equipment and process gas pipework modifications in order to support a new process aimed at reducing the clients cost of manufacturing operation. This project was at the pilot scale and is intended to be rolled out at various commercial scales around the globe.
